You don’t have to live with varicose veins anymore. Our advanced medical laser treatments for varicose veins are performed by Dr. Ram Ravi who is certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
Requiring only local anesthesia, most procedures take about 45 minutes and allow you to return to work on the same day.
Your veins can lose elasticity and stretch. When this happens, blood that should be moving toward your heart may flow backward. When the blood pools in your veins, they enlarge and become varicose.

What are vein treatment services?
Vein treatment services work to remove the physical pain or social discomfort resulting from varicose veins. One of the most effective ways to eliminate varicose veins is through laser treatment. This safe and effective procedure does not require surgery or extensive recovery time. Laser vein treatment services need 45 minutes to complete by our expert team of physicians and can be done without hospitalization.
Many vein treatment services are often covered by insurance because varicose veins are recognized as a medical condition.
Is laser treatment safe for varicose veins?
Laser treatment is not only safe for varicose veins; it is also a very effective treatment. This minimally-invasive procedure leaves little to no scarring. Varicose veins can be painful and also an indicator of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). This is a condition that occurs when the valves in the legs are not working effectively. Endovenous laser treatment also helps improve these conditions while working to eliminate the physical and social discomfort that is caused by varicose veins.
Although endovenous laser treatment can treat larger varicose veins in the legs, it requires only local anesthesia. Laser treatments are also less painful than vein ligation and stripping, and it has a shorter recovery time.
Sclerotherapy Vein Treatment Procedure
If conservative methods, like wearing compression stockings, don’t get your varicose vein pain under control, your vein specialist may recommend sclerotherapy treatment.
Sclerotherapy is a solution that is injected into the unwanted vein in order to treat varicose or spider veins. The solution is injected directly into the vein and works to irritate the lining of the blood vessel. This causes it to swell and stick together and the blood to clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view.
Both spider veins and superficial varicose veins can be treated using sclerotherapy. You may benefit from sclerotherapy if your veins have a lumpy appearance, are blue or purple in color, or look swollen.
Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive vein treatment that typically takes 15-30 minutes to complete. For larger veins, a foam sclerosant may be used. It has also been found to be a safe and effective way to treat varicose veins.
Vein Treatment With Ambulatory Phlebectomy
Ambulatory Phlebectomy is another minimally invasive outpatient procedure that uses local anesthesia and very small incisions to remove large, bulging varicose veins. The procedure is well-tolerated and causes minimal pain and side effects.
For more serious cases, the varicose veins may need to be surgically removed, but this typically applies to larger veins.
